The Center for Parent Leadership at the Prichard Committee invites you to:
Parent Leaders: An Untapped Resource in Education

Join your peers from around the country in a two-day seminar where you will:

• Learn best practices for planning, staffing, developing curriculum, recruiting, publicizing and funding parent leadership programs.
 
• Work side-by-side with parent involvement experts from around the county including Karen Anne T. Henderson, author of Beyond the Bake Sale: The Essential Guide to Family/School Partnerships.
 
• Meet active parent leaders and hear first hand what is working for them at the school and district levels.
 
• And more

These seminars are hosted by the Center for Parent Leadership at the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. Sessions will be led by staff and parents from the Prichard’s acclaimed Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership which since 1997 has trained over 1,300 Kentucky parent leaders that are making a difference in student achievement in their local communities.
